Consultations

When another physician or health care provider requests assistance in evaluation
of vascular medical problems, our office can be requested to perform a
consultation.

A consultation consists of an in depth history and physical performed in our
office by either one of our surgeons or our nurse practitioner.

After your information has been gathered, a decision is made as to the
appropriate testing that will be required to diagnose your problem, as well as
the proper timing of the testing based on a mutually determined necessity
between you and the provider in our office.

Upon completion of the testing, you will return to the office to discuss the
results. Should intervention be recommended, those specific options will be
given to you at that time. Again, the timing of interventions will be dependent
upon the urgency of the disease process.
