Our ICAVL Accredited Vascular Lab Apple Hill Vascular Laboratory has been providing vascular diagnostic testing for more than fourteen (15) years in the York, PA area. We are a fully ICAVL accredited laboratory with accreditation in Cerebrovascular, Arterial, and Venous for the past ten years and in Visceral(abdominal) testing the past four years. Currently we have three registered vascular technologists with a combined vascular testing experience of more than 60 years and a part-time technologist for performing non-imaging procedures. The new physical layout of our facility has enabled us to expand our vascular laboratory to include four (4) office/examination rooms that are separate from the main medical office. With the addition of the most up-to-date ultrasound equipment and experienced, highly motivated staff, we will continue to provide the most accurate non- invasive testing in the region. Advances in medical technology are continually occurring and diagnostic ultrasound imaging is an area of exciting change. At Apple Hill Vascular Associates. Ltd we constantly strive to improve the quality of the health care we provide to our patients by keeping abreast of the ever changing technological advances. Even though there has been significant advancement in the use of diagnostic ultrasound, we have remained dedicated to the use of statistically proven, traditional noninvasive (non-imaging) diagnostic testing in conjunction with ultrasound. These non-imaging modalities include the evaluation of the arterial system using continuous- wave Doppler, pulse volume recording, segmental pressure measurements, and treadmill exercise testing. |
